E8 Markets Payout Rules: Best Day, Caps and Buffers

E8 Markets payout rules come down to three things: which stage your account is in, whether your best trading day is too large a share of your profit, and whether you can pass KYC with a third-party processor. The first two are arithmetic. The third can stop you being paid at all.

E8 publishes its payout rules in more detail than most of this industry, including median processing statistics. This page sets out what those rules actually require.

When you can request a payout

Payouts exist only in the SimFi™ Performance stage. A SimFi Challenge account cannot request one.

There is no fixed schedule. E8’s own wording is that you can request “daily or anytime, as long as all on-demand requirements, such as Best day, are fulfilled.”

ProductPayout modelMinimum
E8 OneOn demand, Best Day applies$100
E8 SignatureOn demand, Best Day applies$100
E8 ProDaily, no Best Day1%
E8 ZeroDaily, no Best Day$100

The $100 minimum is on every product. At an 80% payout split you therefore need at least $125 of gross profit before a request is possible.

E8 Pro and E8 Zero are exempt from on-demand rules entirely. They pay daily. For a trader who wants frequent small withdrawals rather than large infrequent ones, that exemption is the whole argument for choosing E8 Pro.

The “3 days to first payout” is arithmetic, not a waiting period

Competing pages report a three-day lock-up on E8 One and E8 Signature. That is a misreading. E8 states it directly:

“This is not a separate waiting rule — it is simply how the Best Day Rule works in practice, as 3 days is the fastest the math can work in your favour.”

Three days is the minimum number of profitable sessions needed for no single day to exceed 40% of the total. Nothing is holding your money; the rule is a ratio, and three roughly equal days is the fastest way to satisfy it.

The 40% Best Day rule, worked

Applies to E8 One in the Performance stage. No single trading day may exceed 40% of total generated profit for the period you want to withdraw.

E8 supplies the arithmetic: if your best day is $1,000, total profit must reach $1,000 ÷ 0.40 = $2,500 before you can request.

Eligible:

DayResult
1+$500
2+$550
3−$150
4+$600 (best day)
5+$400
Total$1,900

40% of $1,900 is $760. The best day of $600 is below it. Payout available.

Ineligible:

DayResult
1+$1,100
2+$1,500 (best day)
3+$900
4−$400
Total$3,100

40% of $3,100 is $1,240. The best day of $1,500 exceeds it. No payout yet.

Breaching it does not end the account. You keep trading until total profit dilutes the best day — in the second example, until total profit reaches $3,750.

E8 Signature uses a 35% Best Day rule rather than 40%. The mechanics are the same; the threshold is tighter.

You cannot split a winner to get around it

E8’s anti-gaming clause is explicit. Splitting a large winning position through hedging or partial closures to dodge the Best Day rule is prohibited, and E8 reserves the right to consolidate all profit from that position back into a single day. Three specific patterns are named:

  • Partially closing a large winning position across multiple days.
  • Opening several positions on one instrument in a day and closing them across multiple days.
  • Immediately opening, closing and reopening a position held across days.

Each is described as a single trade idea capitalising on a single-day market movement.

E8 Signature payout caps and buffers

E8 Signature is the one product with payout caps, and it also requires a permanent buffer.

The buffer must equal the account’s EOD Dynamic Drawdown and stays in the account no matter how many payouts you take. E8’s stated reason is to stop traders breaching EOD by withdrawing their full profit.

The caps, by account size and payout number:

AccountBufferPayout 1–2Payout 3–4Payout 5+
$25,000$1,000$1,000$1,250$1,500
$50,000$2,000$1,250$2,250$3,250
$100,000$3,000$2,250$3,250$4,250
$150,000$4,500$3,250$4,250$5,250

Minimum balance needed for a maximum first payout: $27,000 / $53,250 / $105,250 / $157,750 respectively.

E8 Signature Futures has a hard limit of five payouts per account. After the fifth, the account is deactivated regardless of remaining balance and the trader moves to a free Challenge of the same size. This applies only to Signature Futures accounts bought after 14 July 2026, 20:00 UTC+2, and matches the same rule on E8 Zero.

E8 One and E8 Pro have no payout caps.

How fast E8 actually pays

E8 publishes medians for 1 January to 1 May 2026:

11 hours from payout request to approval by the team. 24 hours from request to funds arriving in the Rise or WorkMarket account.

Meaning 50% of payouts are approved within 11 hours and 50% arrive within 24.

The other half of that statistic matters too. E8 states the process “can also take up to 5 business days” and lists the factors: day of request (weekends are not processed), the trader’s own onboarding speed, and additional information the processor may request.

Publishing medians at all is unusual in this industry and worth crediting. Quoting only the 11 hours, as several competing pages do, is not an accurate reading of E8’s own disclosure.

The rule that can stop you being paid entirely

Payouts run through three third-party processors:

  • WorkMarket — fast bank transfers.
  • Rise — global payments, cash or cryptocurrency.
  • Aeropay — US only, connects to 12,000+ US banks, same-day or faster.

E8 states this without hedging:

“There are no direct crypto payment solutions, and all payouts can be processed only through our partners.”

KYC with WorkMarket or Riseworks is mandatory. E8 is explicit that if you cannot onboard with them, it cannot provide you with a payout. Both maintain unsupported-country lists, and Rise additionally excludes some US states and territories.

E8 charges no commission or fee on payouts. The processor may, depending on the method.

This is the single most important thing to check before buying. Everything else on this page is a rule you can trade around. Processor eligibility is binary, it depends on where you live, and it is worth confirming against the processors’ own country lists before you pay for an account — not after you have passed a Challenge. Prices for each product are on our E8 Markets pricing page.

The payout process, product by product

E8 One payout requirements

Performance stage only, 40% best day, no payout caps. The payout cycle is as fast as the ratio allows — three roughly equal profitable days is the practical floor. Payouts are requested on demand rather than on a schedule, and there is no requirement for a set number of profitable days between each payout beyond what the ratio implies.

E8 Pro: daily payouts, no best day rule

E8 Pro has no best-day requirement at all. Minimum 1% profit, a 2% daily profit cap, and daily payouts. For a trader who wants to withdraw often rather than in large blocks, this is the product built for it, and no buffer needs to stay in the account — the built-in payout mechanism means you can request as much as the account allows.

E8 Signature: buffer in your account, and payout caps

E8 Signature is the one product requiring a permanent drawdown buffer equal to the EOD drawdown. It is also the only one with per-payout ceilings. Requesting the full profit from the account is not possible by design, because the buffer is what stops an EOD breach at the moment of withdrawal. On Signature Futures there is a hard limit of 5 payouts per account.

Performance rules and news trading

Performance rules differ from challenge rules on two products. On E8 One, news trading is unrestricted during the Challenge and prohibited in Performance. On E8 Signature, E8 Pro and E8 Zero news trading is unrestricted throughout. Since payouts exist only in the SimFi Performance account stage, an E8 One trader whose edge is news has no way to use it on the account that pays.

Trader payouts across multiple accounts

Copy trading across your own accounts is permitted, so a trader can run the same strategy on several accounts and request a payout from each. What is prohibited is hedging across accounts and cooperation with other traders. Each account’s payout requirements are assessed on its own balance and its own trading record.

Buffers: when to leave one and when not to

Whether to leave headroom when requesting differs by product:

  • E8 One — yes, in specific situations. The payout is deducted from the Performance account balance, which can affect the Dynamic drawdown.
  • E8 Pro — no. The built-in payout mechanism means you can request as much as the account allows.
  • E8 Signature — a permanent buffer equal to the EOD Dynamic Drawdown, as above.

Daily Drawdown and Daily Pause are never affected by a payout request. Once requested, those limits recalculate from the new balance.

Cancelling a request

A payout request can be cancelled while it is still at stage 1 and before the team has confirmed it or sent a Rise/WorkMarket invitation. Once per 24 hours per account. After cancelling you can resubmit with a corrected amount or a different provider.

Payout on demand: trader questions

What is payout on demand at E8?

Payout on demand means there is no fixed payout calendar. A trader can request at any time, provided the product’s requirements are met — for E8 One and E8 Signature that means the best-day ratio; for E8 Pro and E8 Zero there is no best-day rule at all and payouts are daily. The minimum payout is $100 on every product, which is $125 of gross profit at an 80% split.

How does the buffer work on E8 Signature?

The buffer is an amount equal to the account’s EOD Dynamic Drawdown that must remain in the account permanently. It does not shrink as payouts are taken. E8’s stated purpose is to stop traders breaching EOD by withdrawing their entire profit. On a $100,000 Signature account the buffer is $3,000, so the minimum balance for a maximum first payout is $105,250.

Do performance rules differ from challenge rules?

Yes, and this is the trap. On E8 One, news trading is permitted during the Challenge and prohibited in the Performance stage; the 40% best-day consistency rule applies only in Performance. On E8 Zero the inverse holds — consistency applies in the Challenge and Performance is unrestricted. Passing does not tell you what the paying account allows.

Is news trading allowed when a payout is pending?

On E8 Signature, E8 Pro and E8 Zero, news trading is permitted throughout. On E8 One it is prohibited in the Performance stage, which is the only stage where payouts exist — so for E8 One traders the practical answer is no.

What profit target must I hit before any payout?

The profit target applies to the Challenge, not the payout. On a $100,000 account it is $9,000 for E8 One and $6,000 for E8 Pro. Once in Performance, the payout requirement is the best-day ratio (or, on E8 Pro, 1% minimum profit) rather than a further target.

Does a payout reset my drawdown to the initial balance?

Not on the products verified here. On E8 Pro the static drawdown moves only when the first payout is requested. On E8 One the dynamic drawdown becomes static once the account reaches its initial balance and does not reset afterwards. Daily Drawdown and Daily Pause recalculate from the new balance after a payout, which E8 states explicitly.

Are futures payouts different?

Futures products — E8 Zero and E8 Signature Futures — carry a hard cap of five payouts per account, after which the account deactivates and the trader moves to a free Challenge of the same size. On Signature Futures this applies to accounts bought after 14 July 2026. Futures live on a separate domain and were not independently checked for this page.

What are the trader payout processors and can everyone use them?

Three: WorkMarket, Rise and Aeropay (US only). Trader payouts cannot be processed any other way — E8 states there are no direct crypto payment solutions. Both WorkMarket and Rise publish unsupported-country lists, and Rise additionally excludes some US states. If you cannot onboard, E8 states it cannot pay you, which makes this the first thing to check rather than the last.
